How to obtain your IVR PIN

Effective, April 1, 2002, the FOC implemented a newly enhanced Interactive Voice Response Line (IVR). The IVR system allows customers to access account information by telephone 24 hours a day. Friend of the Court callers must use a touch-tone phone.

The IVR number is 313-224-5300.

To ensure that Friend of the Court case records are kept confidential, callers will be required to enter their social security number and a 4 digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to access account information. First time users will be asked to set their PIN by making specific selections from the menu. Once you have established your PIN, it will remain the same until you choose to change it. It can be changed regularly, but if lost you will need to notify MiSDU to have your PIN reset.

To reset your PIN, you must submit a PIN Replacement Form. This form can be found on this web site, under Forms, “FOC Miscellaneous Forms”. Once completed, you must return the form to MiSDU, Attn: PIN Maintenance, P.O. Box 30354, Lansing, MI 48909-7854. Once the form is received and processed by MiSDU, a temporary PIN will be issued. This temporary PIN will be the last four digits of your social security number and will be available within approximately five business days. Once you have accessed your account information using your temporary PIN, you must create a different PIN.
